With each brush stroke of this large triptych piece, I tried to mimic the essence of the wave’s fluidity. Realism was not my objective, but to capture the fleeting poetic feeling of movement. I love the expression and energy of water. It’s actions, movements, and power excites me and gives me a sense of reverence at the same time. I find peace in the sublime experience of seeing something so much bigger than ourselves. It’s a reminder of how fragile we are and how amazing it is to be a part of this beautiful awe inspiring world.
