"Dawn" The transition from night to day as the sky gets brighter and the morning twilight heralds the beginning of a new day. This period holds so much activity underwater shifting from nocturnal to day-active sea life. It is the time of day the ocean is awake, as the sun under the horizon begins to light up the sky.
